Mind Body Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy

Unlike other physical therapy programs, you will work directly with your therapist for your entire appointment, receiving the full focus and attention of your therapist. Many other rehab programs schedule multiple visits for each therapist and they move from room to room, so your rehab is compromised. At Mind Body, we provide you with focused care and undivided attention for your entire appointment.

Our Mission is to provide a comprehensive approach to recovery from traditional physical therapy to ongoing fitness programs that support lifestyle changes.

Whether your goal is to improve overall body condition, tone muscles, trim inches, stretch tight muscles or decrease stress or fatigue, our mat classes, based on the teachings of Joseph Pilates, can help you. Our mat class can also help those with back or neck pain, orthopedic conditions, asthma, or other respiratory problems, balance disorders, or chronic pain. Regardless of your current level of fitness, Pilates can help to improve the body condition and assist with injury prevention. Read more

I started at Mind Body as a Physical Therapy patient for extreme lower back pain. My doctor recommended them. They provide complete individual care. They not only treated my back injury, but helped me build my core strength to prevent it from happening again. And when my treatment was finished, they were not done helping me. I "graduated" to the beginner Pilates Class. I attend regularly and this has done wonders to help me retain and increase my core strength. Laura is a wonderful, positive, fun teacher. Thanks to them, I am in better shape at 50 than I was at 30. All the staff are caring, helpful, and friendly.

I've had thirteen physical therapists in the last ten years. I have complicated hip and arthritis issues. The last several places I went, I felt like I was in a therapy mill. ... This did not lead to much improvement, as my body mechanics were so out of whack that I wasn't using the right muscles to do the work.

When I came to Mind/Body it was a completely different story. You spend the entire time with one therapist, and they do both deep tissue work and exercises, whether it's Pilates or more traditional work. They focus on functional strength and make sure you are doing the exercises properly.

I absolutely love Mind Body Pilates. I've been taking private one-on-one Pilates seasons with Rainya and feel like I've given my body a brand new start. I've learned a ton about lengthening through my spine and exercises I can do daily to improve posture and core conditioning. The whole staff is so easy to get a long with and the mat classes are excellent. Can't recommend Mind Body enough!

My co-worker and friend had not severe, but pretty bad case of scoliosis, it's when your spine is crooked. It was pretty visible no matter what she wore - one of her shoulder blades was sticking out and considerably lower than another.
I had babies and quit my job and hasn't seen her for a year or so, when she came to my house and helped me with my sewing project. While she was sitting at the sewing machine I looked at her back, and thought about how pretty her back looks, perfect posture and really beautiful back... ...
