Can anyone recommend a great Orthopedic Doctor near Los Altos, CA?

Did my most recent knee surgery after another surgeon (Kenneth Goransen, MD) screwed it up. Dr. Dillingham is one of the doctors most recommended by Pacific TherX.

FYI, Bruce Lehnert is not an orthopedic doctor, he is a podiatrist. An excellent one, highly recommended, but he does not do knees.

Also, they do take Anthem PPO.

I waited a couple of years to write a review to see the long term results. I'm happy to say my shoulder is better than it ever was. I don't know what pixie dust Dr. Dillingham uses, but it sure is magic. It was a complex operation and the results were better than I could have hoped for. Beyond the operation itself, he was always very accessible and had good pre and post-op follow up.

Dr. Dillingham replaced my ACL 10 years ago, and it is still great! Better than my non-surgical knee :) Ski on it every year. His bedside manner was terrific and he recommended a great physical therapist. Thank you so much!!

I don't hesitate to recommend Dr Dillingham. I saw him in 2006 and had surgery in 2007. He explained all of the options, focused on trying to avoid surgery, and when I ended up having surgery it was life-changing--in a very good way.

He explains all of the options and why he prefers some over others. I found that he avoids surgery as much as possible but if you need it, he does great work.

He is also very involved in the type of PT you have and is selective about who you should see for PT. He recommended two people in my town and said if they weren't available he wanted me to go further to get the best care.

I've referred others who have also had good experiences with him.
