With the retirement of Dr. Knight in the spring of 2015, Dr. Chu has now partnered with Dr. Chan to continue the same high level of compassionate care that each of them is already well known for. They are very excited to be opening a new office soon, located in Midtown on the corner of 29th and J Streets.
Ensured of a smooth transition and continuation of a high level of care, Dr. Knight has entrusted the care of his patients to both Dr. Chu and Dr. Chan, and his charts are available to them. Read more

Another five star review for Dr. Chu. My wife and I just had our first child and Dr. Chu was caring, thoughtful, attentive, informative, and highly competent/talented, all the things anyone could want in a Dr. Perhaps most importantly these qualities do not dissipate when emergency's happen (e.g. Emergency c sections/labor complications). My wife and I couldn't be more happy with our decision to chose Dr. Chu. I also think that it is important to note that the labor and delivery nurses made clear to us that if they personally were having a baby that Dr. Chu is on the short list of two docs that they would want to use. If anyone is in a position to evaluate an obgyn the l&d nurses are, so their glowing reviews speaks volumes. Thanks Dr. Chu and staff for everything. Forever grateful--Jake and Kendall.

Dr. Chu is the kind of doctor that is one in a million. Not only is he a knowledgeable and skilled doctor, he is also incredibly kind, thorough, and patient. Dr. Chu performed surgery on my wife to remove endometriosis and I could fully trust she was in good hands with Dr. Chu. Her pain symptoms have already diminished almost entirely. We are forever grateful for Dr. Chu!

Dr Chu is the most compassionate and caring doctor I've ever had. Every visit with him while I was pregnant with my son was thorough, with plenty of time for questions. Like many others, I felt like I was his only patient.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr Chu. He is extremely patient, kind and professional. I never thought I'd be comfortable seeing a male OB, but got him randomly in 2014 at UCDMC and now wouldn't go to anybody else. He helped me though a very difficult miscarriage, going well beyond what we've becomed accustomed to with today's modern rushed medical experience. I followed him when he moved to his private practice in 2015 and he delivered my son with more humor and attentiveness than I thought possible. ...

Dr. Chu is hands down the most patient, professional, thorough and caring Doctor. He takes his time at every appointment to ensure all of your questions are answered and you feel comfortable with all of the new and exciting changes. He goes above and beyond for his patients and his care makes your pregnancy that much more enjoyable. I recommend all of my girlfriends to see Dr. Chu if possible. I couldn't be happier with my experiences with him.
