  I absolutely LOVED working with Katie and her second shooter, Chuck. I looked long and hard for my wedding photographer because I am very picky about photos, and Katie was The One. My running joke throughout wedding planning was that it was easier to decide on the man I was going to marry, than it was deciding on a wedding photographer, especially with how many there are in this area. ...

  Katie was so sweet--she's the kind of person you want to patronize! Her assistant, Chris, was also really easy going and funny. They made the wedding day so much less stressful!

  Katie & Thomas (Merkle) did my friend's engagement photos last fall, and I was impressed -- so I checked them out for my engagement photos too. Katie responded right away, and I liked that they offered a "one hour" package as well as the "lifestyle shoot" that is typical. She was flexible in letting me feel out what I needed, but this arrangement made Merkle Photography more than competitive on price. ...

  Katie Merkle is PHENOMENAL. Our wedding photos turned out better than we ever could have imagined, and we have not stopped getting compliments on them since. She is responsive, helpful and SO talented. I cannot recommend her strongly enough! If you want gorgeous photos that are perfect reminders of your wedding day, look no further!
