Menacho Refinishing is a custom woodworking business with a reputation of old-world-craftsmanship in furniture repair, refinishing and restoration. The business is located in Mountain View, owned and operated by Greg Morrison since 1985. We service businesses and individuals in the San Francisco Bay Area. Greg's career in woodworking started as a part-time job while attending Chico State. Upon returning to the San Francisco Bay Area, Greg worked for the previous owners of Menacho Refinishing for 7 years, to continue his training and gain additional skills and knowledge. Read more

Menacho has refinished many items for us, each one a special piece and a family treasure. All of them look great. The finishes look original and beautiful. An antique rocker was broken and Menacho replaced the piece and matched the wood grain and stain color perfectly. Rocks just like before. Highly Recommended.

This review is long overdue. I had a few Lapalma Lem kitchen stools ($700+ each) in a rental house (why I did that don't ask me why). One of the renters kids took a pen or screwdriver and "drew" on the chairs. I nearly wanted to cry.

I inherited a rocking chair from my grandmother. Somehow the kids broke it - one of the rockers was broken off and the chair was in 3 pieces. I took all the pieces to Menacho Refinishing and they did a great job repairing it. It looks great and you can't tell it was ever broken. I would definitely go back there if I needed any other furniture repaired.
