When I first came back to the Bay Area as a young man in my early twenties I worked largely as a union painter. I was a hard worker and I watched everything my superiors did and followed their lead. I quickly became a foreman. When my son was born I realized I needed to give him more stability and greater opportunity; that's when McCartney Painting was formally started. My son, Clancy, just turned 20-years-old in May 2009 and is doing well at Du Paul University in Chicago. Read more

Kieron and crew did an outstanding job on our house in Merced Heights. He did a great job working with us on the planning and scheduling the job several months out - we were not in a hurry and figured that based on his Yelp reviews that it would be worth waiting, and boy was it. The crew worked with our tenants, were on time, did a great job, and provided expert advice on what to do in certain areas. As the fog slowly wreaks havoc on the great paint job, I know we'll have him back to the house to repaint in the future.

McCartney did a fine job of painting the exterior of my shingled victorian in Cole Valley. This is a big corner house with quite a bit of trim details. Kieron was always available to answer questions and oversee the job. Miguel was the main painter and worked very hard to achieve a great looking result. McCartney's price was fair and a would not hesitate to use them again.

You realize you have discovered a keeper when your neighbors are asking you about the amazing crew who were friendly, hard working, clean and diligent in covering neighbors cars just in case.

... McCarthy painting finished as strong as they started. It is the first time I got more than I expected from a painting company in quality prep, finish, detailing and leaving the job site clean every day. On time, on budget and I enthusiastically recommend. -

... Kieron is a friendly, down to earth guy. He gave me excellent advice on color selection and provided numerous 8"x10" color samples. He really went to bat for me over an issue with the scaffolding company making things happen sooner rather than later.

Our home was completely transformed by their work. Kieron and his team are incredibly professional, prompt and courteous. Miguel was the lead on my crew and he and Kieron both gave such great advice in terms of color, finishes, etc. They are patient, reliable and so much fun to work with. I couldn't be happier with the experience or the finished result. I've already asked them back to paint a back wall in our garden. They are the best!
