As a college aged girl, I always fear that I will be an easy target for a mechanic to try to persuade me into thinking that my car has more wrong with it than it really does... and therefore making me pay way more than I have to. Super thankful I found Matt's Auto because this was not the case at ALL. ... 100% recommend Matt's Auto Care-- mechanics AND friends!! I will definitely be back in the future when my car decides to give up on me again.

Loved these guys ever since they first worked on my '02 Civic. The first time I took it in, I needed my suspension replaced. While they replaced the suspension, they informed me that my spark plugs looked like they needed to be replaced. Rather than try and convince me to have them do it, they informed me that it was fairly simple and that I could probably do it myself if I was at all comfortable with cars.

Always seem fairly priced, upfront about what everything is going to cost, quick turn around time, have never tried to up-sell me on anything, and never had any problem with the work they do.
Highly recommend. -

This review is for a Buyers Inspection on a used car, the shop is the one in Aurora Ave. Bob provided me with top notch customer service. Over the phone, his tune of voice was friendly, and even friendlier in person. He also came out and made sure the dealer understood what was wrong with his car when coming by to drop the missing lug nuts key. I would recommend this shop to family.

Absolutely the best in Seattle. These guys run and manage their shop as consummate professionals. Their assessments are honest, the quality of work is excellent and they are genuinely happy to see you come through the door. I found one of these "unicorn" shops in Portland when I lived there and for the last two years, I'd been hoping to find a place like it. This shop is it.

I made an appt 2 weeks in advance to diagnose my brake problems. My steering wheel was shaking a bit when I braked so I knew something was off. ... He said that the rotors could not be machined anymore so they had to be replaced. The rotor was not in stock but he would be able to order it for delivery that afternoon. Total cost was $453 + tax which I think is fair market value for the work done.

I came back in the afternoon at 3pm for my car and was soon on my way. I immediately noticed a difference in my brakes. ... I can feel more confident knowing that my car should stop quickly when needed and that is a must with Seattle driving.
I will be back again if I need another service!
