My name is Maria Tandon and I am an Education Specialist. Helping children learn is my passion! Patient, positive, and professional, my unique combination of skills allow me to help students meet academic and behavior goals. You will be impressed with how well I get along with children, how I can improve their motivation for learning, and build their self-confidence.

Equipped with more than 7 years of experience working with children, combined with a bachelor's degree (B.A.) in psychology, from Wake Forest University, and masters of education (M.Ed.) and education specialist (Ed.S.) degree in school psychology, from University of Cincinnati, I have a strong foundation in effective learning and motivation strategies.

For the past year, I have provided high-quality private tutoring services for students in the Cincinnati area. In June, my husband and I moved to Atlanta for his job at CHOA-Egleston. Currently, I provide tutoring for families in the Virginia-Highland, Candler Park, and Downtown Atlanta communities. I am excited to continue building relationships with families throughout the Atlanta area, in order to help more students become successful and confident learners. Read more
