Fantastic staff and service. Dr Maloney has been there and done that for thousands of patients yet he treats each new patient with the enthusiasm of his first. Can really tell he loves what he does (and he's damn good at it too). I barely review anything because I'm skeptical of reviews myself but I felt the need to post something. The local taco stand wont change my life but this institute can. I can't wait to experience more of life with my new vision!

I was so nervous about getting Lasik eye surgery and had thought about it for years and kept putting it off for fear that something would go wrong. I took my time and did a TON of research on every eye surgeon in California and I am so happy that I landed on the very best surgeon out there, Dr. Maloney. He was so kind during our first meeting and was a calming force the day of the actual surgery. The entire staff the day of my surgery were just amazing! I was in the best hands and the day after I had 20/20 vision in my left eye and almost 20/20 in the right. I have zero broken blood vessels, no redness or itching or burning or bruising. If feels like a true miracle to be able to wake up and see!

Having been a previous LASIK patient of Dr. Maloney's I was fully confident that my lens replacement (cataract) surgery done by Dr. Maloney would be of the highest quality. Not only was it painless and easy, but I was not prepared for how well I saw with my new lens.., Since I only had scheduled one eye for lens replacement - as the other was acceptably fine - I could compare them and I wasn't prepared for HOW incredible colors, focus and 3 dimensions are with the lens replacement. I will go back and do my second eye even though I have about 20/25 vision in it - the difference is astounding! Can't recommend Dr. Maloney or the procedure high enough. 6 Stars... J. Fayman

I got lasik in 2011 from Dr. Maloney, and it was one of the best things I've ever done in my life. I wore glasses since age 6, and was extremely nearsighted with astigmatism, a complicated case. Dr. Maloney told me that there was a chance I'd have to return in six months for a touchup, or, I might always see halos around lights at night. I sighed out some nerves and said "Okay...," and he absolutely nailed it.

… Six years later I continue to count the ways my life has improved - no need to remove contacts after chopping jalapenos… not being temporarily SOL if I tore a contact or broke glasses, simply waking up and SEEING... I could go on, but I've probably already forgotten some of my prior tribulations in this new privileged life. -

From the initial consultation to the final visit, Dr. Maloney and his entire staff were totally professional and caring. Their attention to even the smallest detail was very impressive. My vision in the operated eye from the very first day was 20/25+ and is expected to improve over the next few weeks.

I can hardly wait for Dr. Maloney to do my other eye. So far, this is better than when I got my first pair of eyeglasses when I was a preteen.
