Rick got his first job as a bike mechanic at Local Motion in Abbotsford, BC in 1983. He is now a certified mountain bike instructor and guide, has toured nine countries by bike, and has competed in the BC Bike Race twice among another road, cross-country, and downhill events. He just plain knows a lot about bikes, and with a B.A. in Human Kinetics, Secondary Education (and English Literature), he is good at sharing it. Lynn Valley Bikes were always honest and accommodating when I needed anything done to my bike. They were all friendly and had amazing customer service.

Rick kicks butt! Only shop that actually calls/ leaves you a message when they need to do something extra to your bike. And of course they call you when your bike is done, never has Different bikes or steed ever done that.

P.S they dont treat every customer like they are noobs and have no idea how to work on a bike. Was nice to have a solid conversation with the mechanics about tips and tricks for maintenance. Other shops mechanics are typically quite grudgy.

Today I went to this bike-shop for the first time. I needed some original stuff for bleeding my brake system. The service was absolutely awesome! Although Ken was very busy, he kindly provided some useful tips! I also witnessed that other customers had the same experience. Their brilliant customer service is the reason why they have high rating reviews both on "google map " and on "YELP"! Best place to buy a new bike or maintenance service in North Shore.
