Loose Nuts Cycles

Bike Shop

Founded in 2008 in Athens, Georgia, we started as Loose Nuts Custom Wheels. We focused on building riders the perfect set of wheels for their individual needs, desires, and future rides. After two years of work we had grown our name throughout the Southeast through our outreach and support to the local cycling community though sponsoring races and providing superior products to cyclists. There was never any question of evolving the wheel building business into a full-fledged bike shop and in the spring of 2010 it was time to make the move. Read more

I've been to a number of bike shops here in Atlanta and have figured out these guys are the best. Personable, fair, and quick with repairs. And they don't pressure you into buying parts and service that you don't really need. Another plus is that they're the closest bike shop to my place in Ormewood Park. Keep up the excellent work Loose Nuts!

They're the most pleasant and down-to-earth bike mechanics/sales people I've ever met. They do great work and make me feel at home in their shop. They're all avid riders and know what they're doing & talking about. The shop itself is very welcoming, and you can perch at their bar and talk to a mechanic while they tune your bike up.

Good spot has all of the important gears you need for your bike. They gladly put air in my tires for free on my first visit with a friendly attitude. Would suggest this shop

These guys are so incredibly helpful. They know what they are doing, and know how to do it fast. They didn't have my size frame in stock, and I would have to wait until July for the bike itself because it was on back order at the source. So they worked with me and ordered the frame and built me the bike in less than a week. They did this despite them already having lots of work to do. They rock so much!!! I would suggest you go to them for your bike needs, 10/10 times.
