Even though Al has a large interest in German Shepherd Dogs, he trains and works with all breed of dogs. Al enjoys watching the growth that each of his clients and their dogs undergo as they train with him. Al has made it a point to understand the psychology of learning theory and how that applies to every breed of dog. This is one of the reasons he is sought after to teach private citizens as well as students in animal related schools.
Today, Al is President and Training Director for the Bayou City Schutzhund Club. He is also a member of the German Shepherd Dog Club of America – Working dog Association and holds Club level protection helper certification. Read more

Al exceeded all of our expectations! We brought Max, a German shepherd puppy into our house and needed some help with his training. Al trained my family as well as Max, and the end result is we have a functioning relationship with dog and family. Al gave us great fundamentals on how to communicate and get positive results very quickly. I've recommended him to several friends. He comes to your home and works with you and your dog in your home environment.

To sum it up...training with Al was life changing! Sounds dramatic and it was! I have 4 rescue dogs and they all needed help for various issues. Since training with Longoriahaus Dog Training our home is much more calm and peaceful. Walking the dogs is enjoyable now. No more pulling, lunging, and barking at strangers. I now have the knowledge and tools to continuing working with my dogs to improve their lives and mine. This training has been invaluable. Thanks Al!

The first time Al walked into our home, I knew we would benefit from his expertise. I refer to him as our "dog whisperer" as he has almost a magical command over Lexi. He also did a fantastic job of engaging our daughter in the training. He guided us not only in training our German Shepard, Lexi, but how to deal with strangers who approach us. We are on a learning journey with our puppy and plan to continue that journey with Al.

Al came to our rescue when our sweet black lab Sophie refused to go on walks. He stuck with us and gave us so many great tips and ideas. Our puppy would literally lay in the driveway and refuse to walk! It took two sometimes three people to just get her down the street.

Al Longoria is the best trainer I have ever met. He is amazingly thorough and experienced. He not only took our German Shepherd to a whole new level, but he trained my husband and me as well. We learned all of the necessary tools to keep up the training at home. I can't recommend him enough. Cesar Milan who??? Al is THE dog whisperer.
