I grew up in Julian, CA, a simple town known for its apple pie, wild rugged terrain, and seasonal mountain snow. At a young age, I gardened with my grandfather in his ever evolving backyard. His quarter acre had fruit trees, seasonal row crops and over 100 different types of roses to keep my grandmother happy. MY WIFE AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ZACH AND LIVING GREEN DESIGNS. He recently completed our front yard (landscaping and hardscaping) and we love it. We interviewed a number of designers and landscapers for our front yard and Zach was by far the most responsive and affordable. He spent more time with us for a small front yard project than our general contractor did on an entire house remodel. He has great attention to detail and we absolutely give him and his crew two thumbs up.

I have to say this is the BEST landscaping shop. We interviewed several several landscapers before getting a recommendation for Zach and his team. Not only was Zach incredible in his designs but he has an incredible vision for our very outdated home that requires A LOT of work. He gave us an extremely reasonable price for a gorgeous swag. And executed it perfectly. His team works tirelessly everyday, are kind people, and exemplify professionalism. Zach has been patient and kind in helping us perfect the final design (even after I changed the plants I wanted maybe 736377 times) he demonstrated unwavering patience and kindness the entire process. ... I highly recommend him to anyone!!! We love this company! Thank you Zach!!!!!

Zach was fantastic. He and his crew did a great job once he had finished the design. He was very proactive in the design and incorporated features that he thought would fit our lifestyle and the final result looks fantastic. His advice on drought friendly plantings and approaches, US/local sourcing, and "feel" for the customer and the design space was great. It did take a little longer than expected, but it was worth it. He even fixed a couple major code violations that the home builder had made when the house was built for no additional fee! I highly recommend these guys.

Thankful to Zach and the team at Living Green Designs. Our front porch is now a place where I like to sit and relax. We had a basic lawn and wanted to create a more inviting drought-tolerant front yard space when we moved into our new home. I would not know where to begin but they came up with a vision that looks great. Our front lawn was replaced with a beautiful hedge, modern wall and succulents. The design is perfect, it goes with our style and works well with the style of our home. Professional team. I highly recommend them.

We loved that Zach had a degree in Horticulture and gave us expert advise on accomplishing our project. We completely redid our front yard adding a wall, lighting, sod, irrigation, and plants. We were happy that he reused some of our existing plants and stone in his design which saved us money. We had several quotes and were blessed to have made the right choice with Living Green Design.
