Over the past few years we have been dedicated to using more sustainable practices. We grow our vegetable plants with only organic methods of pest and disease control. All of our flowers are grown with the environment in mind, meaning we don’t use Neonic pesticides (harmful on bees) and have been integrating more natural methods of pest and disease control. We take the environmental issues very seriously and are helping our customers learn about better gardening practices.
As a full-service garden center and nursery we also offer bulk topsoil and mulch for pickup or delivery. We also carry a full selection of fertilizer, soil, bagged mulch, grass seed, and much more garden related items. Can anyone recommend a great Gardener near Buffalo, NY?My dad uses Lavocat's and loves them. Their garden is gorgeous, and so are the stone steps and patio they built, so I can attest at the very least to their handiwork when it's all finished!

Lavocat has done both plantings for us as well as hardscape work, installing a new patio. They provided reasonable solutions to any problem that arose, gave expert guidance where helpful, and helped make my garden the beautiful sanctuary it is.

Best nursery around. Was going to stop at one closer to our house but they were closed and saw this one had good reviews so we drove out here and was amazed! Everything is so organized and what a hugeeee selection! They have everything here and then some. Everyone was so helpful and the lady who cashed us out even called her husband and went out of her way to make sure we knew the right way of how to plant all the plants/trees we bought. Definitely recommend this place. Family owned and no middle man .

This is a local, family owned business with multiple generations working at the nursery. We redid our back beds last year and the plants have flourished, lookgorgeous, and make our backyard special! We returned this year for our front beds.
Everyone is so helpful and welcoming. They have great suggestions for what you are trying to accomplish. Highly recommend this place. Shop local and support small business! Especially this one! -

Bought our christmas tree here. They were so nice and accommodating! We had just come from another place down the road, which was not very nice and it was very overpriced. Stopped in Lavocats and we were slightly overwhelmed by the prices (only because we recently moved to Buffalo from a more rural area and we were used to paying a lot less) but as we were about to leave we were approached by a very nice man who showed us some cheaper trees outside. We found a beautiful tree which they wrapped for us and even put it on our car and tied it down! So glad we stopped! Thank you!

Another great Christmas tree buying experience from Lavocat's. Count on these folks for great trees, tasteful wreathes, and reasonable prices. Lavocat's sells trees at the Clinton Bailey Market during the holidays. They're the best!
