... Chris Kunicki's studio was the perfect place to take it. ... The repair was done exquisitely, you cannot tell there was a break and there's barely a visible seam from the replacement piece he used for the repair. (See before & after!)

For someone who owns a lot of precious family, wooden heirlooms, I'm keeping Chris in mind for any of my restoration needs. I cannot praise his work enough! AND his work is well priced! Very reasonable for such a high quality of work!

I have purchased several items from Chris and I always walk away with a smile on my face. His attention to detail is remarkable and his customer service makes you think you've gone back to the 1950s. He is very responsive and won't be satisfied until you are. I highly recommend Chris for any of your restoration work.

Chris Kunicki's refinishing of our dining room table is giving us a lot of pleasure. The skillful application of the stain and finish has brought out out the beauty of the wood to where it is even better than when the table was new. Also, Chris was a pleasure to work with, from his original visit to give us an estimate to the timely completion of the work and delivery back to us.

I found an antique chest with areas of major damage, including a corner that was totally chewed off. Chris restored it completely - in fact, I am still not sure how he rebuilt the damaged corner! One would never guess its original condition to see it now. He also recreated areas of missing decorative detail to match the original wood design. This item went from being a real "project" to an awesome statement piece in my home!

... When Chris opened up his restoration/custom furniture shop on Colfax, I immediately wheeled the pulpit to his shop. Once he started sanding it down, he discovered it was a solid piece of mahogany -- deep rich red with a beautiful grain. It's absolutely beautiful, the piece is incredibly detailed. I am so pleased with his work; he's going to restore some built-in bookcases in my home too. Chris is truly a craftsman, he loves the wood, and loves making the pieces come to life. You need to check his website, he has pictures of my pulpit. He's an amazing guy, nice, friendly and honest too.
