  He "talks me down," asks the right questions, and helps me cheerfully. He turned my rickety "Demolition Bike" used for grueling Chicago winter riding into a rescue bike. I OK'd his offer of an overhaul at minimal cost. Despite a long waiting period during which it was used as a mechanic's training bike, for me that deal was heaven-sent! My bike was reborn. P.S. My favorite Cozy's location recently moved but Kozy's has always treated me right regardless of location.

  Very accommodating and friendly customer service. All of the staff is well-knowledged and very helpful. George helped me choose a bike and made sure to answer all of my questions. I came in for a quick adjustment today, and he remembered who I was from a month ago when I initially came in to shop for my bike. If you're looking for a bike, but don't know where to start, this is a good place--just make sure to ask for help! Thanks guys!

  I only come here for service but the folks in the back do great work and are very prompt in getting back to you. They take pride in their work and if anything they've done for you isn't exactly right you can bring it in and they'll adjust it quickly.

  I do NOT recommend that you purchase a service contract from Kozy’s Cyclery.
  Here is my story:
  In April 2017, I purchased two 3-year service contracts, one for my Fuji and one for my Trek road bike. Then on Jul 2nd my Fuji bike was stolen from a bike rack in Chicago. I was using the Fuji to commute in the city so I am getting a new bike. As I had only had the contract for 3 of 36 months, I asked if I could transfer the value to a contract for the new bike. I was told no, even if I purchased the new bike from Kozy’s they would not help budge. ...

  Gotta love Kozy Cyclery. I have purchased six or seven bikes from this place and the service is great. I just brought my new bike in for adjustments and told them my back wheel was causing issues, the found a broken spoke and replaced it for free. I have also had issues with my kids bikes - chains falling off etc, and they happily fix it as a courtesy for the kids. I could not be happier and its why I am a consistent customer for more than a decade at their stores.
