In 2007, when I worked at the architecture firm Perkins+Will, I was chosen to be the New York Office’s Social Responsibility Leader. As the SRI Leader I was responsible for coordinating pro bono projects with Public Architecture’s 1% Solution initiative and organizing volunteer opportunities for employees. In 2008, Perkins+Will allowed me to take a four-month leave of absence in order to pursue a self-designed volunteer mission which I called G3. I focused on three different areas of human need in three different countries: Education in Guatemala, Health Care in Ghana, and Human Rights in the Republic of Georgia. Read more

I cannot say enough good things about Karen and her team. She is such a sweetheart who is super professional. I used her 2 week/day of wedding coordinator services and had the pleasure of having her and George on site for my rehearsal and wedding day. I didn't have to stress at all going into my wedding day, knowing that Karen had been in touch with all of my vendors. She was a text, email or phone call away and always got back to me within the hour.
