  Judy did a great job putting a new, sturdy zipper in my motorcycle race leathers. The leather is very thick and stiff and I'm sure it wasn't easy to manage. Judy was polite and easy to work with. She was also very upfront about her cash/check only policy and turnaround time for completion. Workmanship was perfect - you can't tell it was a repair, it looks original. Judy also mended a couple of seams that were beginning to come apart - these I hadn't asked to be repaired, she just fixed them anyway - no charge! That was very cool. I think her rates are probably on the high end but I'm not an expert on this so I am not sure - If feel you get what you pay for and I was certainly pleased with the service and feel I got a good value. I would use her again

  I am a tall woman and I have regularly had Judy alter clothing to make the legs/sleeves longer. She recently took 2 pairs of Columbia camo printed pants, cut the legs off one pair and sewed 3 inches to the bottom of the 2nd pair to make them long enough for me. The first pair were turned into shorts. It's impossible to tell that the pants have been lengthened her stitching is so good. She's done this for me with shirt sleeves too. She has also patched my favorite jeans for me and other projects over the last 10 years. Excellent work always!

  Judy fixed my best friend. My totally trashed, been through the wringer, had to earn the patina of trashiness leather jacket. It looked liked like a wrinkle when she was done. It had been ripped and torn apart before. She even took it home when done so I didn't have to fight traffic to pick it up, In 2 days I have referred 2 people. I will continue to do this..she is simply amazing. You cannot even tell where she mended the seam to fix the leather. Blew my mind, I am simply in love with with her magic!

  I stopped in for a few stitches in the collar of a leather motorcycle jacket and Judy took care of it right away, while I waited. 10 minutes in and out, and a great job. Highly recommended.

  My wedding dress was made 3 sizes too big by Maggie Sottero and they refused to fix it. Because of the extensive beading, I knew it was going to be an expensive and time-consuming project for someone. After being turned away from other alterers because my wedding dress was going to be too much work to fix, I was distraught. I decided to try Judy's just down the hill from my house. Hot damn was it a good choice! Not only did Judy turn it into something I could wear but she did it at a fair price. She just got herself a regular customer out of me. I told our officiant about her and she's already brought some items in for Judy to do her magic with. Judy is my hero!
