Best painters we have used by far. We used JEK painting the interior of our newly purchased home. This was a very big job, basically the entire interior. Jim and his coworkers really know what they are doing, communicate well, and are able to adjust the scope of the project as issues arise (this always happens). We had used them before for smaller jobs and were pleased but we really cannot say enough about the skill and care they took. We felt they were very fairly priced for the project and we will use them in the future for all of our painting needs.

We initially hired J. E. K. painting to do one room in our new house. We were so pleased with the result that we have since hired them to do our entire house. They are timely, professional, respectful and take great pride in their work. We would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for an excellent painting company.

After calling no less then a dozen painters for estimates, I went with these guys. A lot of the others came across as shady/gimmicky but these guys told me they work hard and can't afford negative word of mouth. They worked quickly and cleanly and when there was a minor issue with the paint that had to do with the weather and not their work, they remedied the issue 6 months after their initial work was complete. This was for an exterior paint job on a city rowhouse.

I've worked with a lot of painters over the years in my interior design business and we have a really great one here in Fells Point. He's Jim Kerr of JEK Painting. He's neat, conscientious, considerate, smart and very talented (faux finishing, carpentry, repairs, electrical). He's been repairing my windowsills this week, but he's also replaced my side door, installed light fixtures, and painted interior areas at 732 S. Ann. He's also very reasonable.
