  Laurie is awesome!! My wedding dress was absolutely perfect for my big day and all of my bridesmaids looked stunning. She helped me figure out exactly what I did and didn't need done with my dress and I had such a great experience. I would recommend Laurie to anyone that needs their dress to look wonderful and not spend an arm and a leg on things that aren't necessary.

  I bought a dress that was too small around my hips/butt area and we had to let the seams out just so I could get it on. I ended up taking it to Laurie to see if she could make it work... not only did she make it work, but she did it so quickly, and totally reasonably priced! Couldn't be happier! 10/10 recommend!

  I chose to use Isew because of a quote Laurie had on her website, (I since can't find it, so I hope I'm not making that up) about how leftover scraps of fabric end up making their way into her quilts. I'm a big fan of leftovers. I like quilts. They are a place where undervalued, discarded, neglected scraps can come together and create something beautiful. I like that. In addition, I liked her website, I think she is pleasant to work with, her prices are reasonable, and she does good work. And I agree with her sister, that she should try out for Project Runway. Live the dream Laurie!

  I found Laurie after several bad experiences elsewhere, and I keep coming back. I live about 40minutes east of her business, but it's well worth the drive to me.
  I think Laurie's claim to fame is more around dresses and clothes, but everything she has done for me has been sheer curtains, curtains, and outdoor (Sunbrella-covered) cushions.
