I had surgery last week with Dr Millett for a Sternoclavicular SC Joint Resection. Before my surgery date, I was contacted by a Howard Head rep who scheduled out all my physical therapy for after surgery (as long as I was staying in CO) and answered any questions I had. They were more than accommodating to say the least! Once I was done with my surgery, I was admitted to the hospital and began Physical Therapy immediately! ... She went above and beyond to help me understand the whole therapy plan and always made sure I was comfortable!! It made surgery a lot more bareble and helped me regain some range of motion very quickly!!! Thank You�

I spent 1 week post op from hip arthroscopy to repair my labral tear (and a lot of other things in there) with the team at Howard Head and I didn't want to go home! The care provided was amazing. There are so many things to do after surgery and the therapists I saw (Melissa and Zach) kept me on track and answered my numerous questions. They were patient, fun and extremely knowledgable. Water therapy was wonderful and such a surprise to me only 4 days after surgery.

I went to Vail for Dr. Phillipon but I left knowing that the entire team at Howard Head would be just as much motivation to make the trip again if I ever have too. -

After seeing Dr. Duffey in Colorado Springs and receiving a diagnosis of a labral tear I was told I was old, had run a lot of miles, and should take NSAIDs for 6 weeks and see if the pain decreased. ... My surgery went well, Howard Head Sport Medicine did my PT in the same hospital. PT was the best I've ever seen. My care was superb! I can't say enough about the treatment I received. It's a busy practice, a lot of professional athletes, and you need to be aggresive about wanting to get the surgery, plan to be a partner in your recovery, and want to get back to sport. The nurses, admin, lab, hospital staff etc... were fabulous. I'm on my way to being the person I was before this unfortunate problem.
