I first discovered Herb while researching experts in stuttering in the San Diego area. He immediately called me back and consulted with me on how to best help my son who had begun to stutter suddenly. I had seen several speech therapists for my kids over the years, including evaluations at Rady's and they weren't always the best experiences, mostly play and not a lot of help. We started seeing Herb and I was immediately surprised by how rigorous and yet fun the sessions were. He worked my son for a full hour, all in the form of creative play and exercises that he really enjoyed. ...

Great experience for my speech recovery. Herb was so helpful, considerate, had great skill tests, positive reinforcement, compassionate, humorous, committed to my recovery. I have no doubt he was instrumental in my recovery. All my doctors have been impressed with my progress and I believe Herbs' skills at his job helped make that possible
