I have used Hara /Nelson Physical Therapy and Wellness on two occasions over past 18 months. The first for a extended achilles tendon injury and secondly, for a severely torn calf muscle-both were sports injuries. With the calf injury I told by my Orthopedic surgeon that I would be laid up for 4-6 months-but my Physical Therapist Erik was able to get me playing effectively again in 6 weeks. In case of the tendon injury the forecast was for me to be down 3-6 months and I was out and playing in 8 weeks. In both cases surgery was a strong possibility if I did not respond to P/T.
I would highly recommend Erik for any injury that requires Physical Therapy.

I have been seeing Marc Hara for a recurring foot/ankle pain since 2010 and I would not go anywhere else. He always starts our sessions by asking how I am doing and he ALWAYS listens to what I have to report. Then the treatment goes from there. He is gentle, but forceful, and always gives me additional exercises/stretches that I can do at home which I very much appreciate as I like to be a part of the treatment team as relates to my own injury. In addition, Marc is concerned with my other activities and suggests which activities will help the situation, and which will not. I highly recommend Marc Hara for any Physical Therapy you might need.

I started in June 2014 with Marc after spine surgery. There is no better place to go in Los Angeles! I agree with the gentleman who said he would give more stars if he could!
They both care about their patients and do not watch the clock! They help you no matter what you need and give you their full attention! I would not be as good as I am if it was not for Marc and his treatments and knowledge.

I continue to recommend Hara-Nelson. Erik is very careful, I am improving, and I have absolutely no negative comments. The equipment is modern, clean, and you get to use a wide variety of machines, balls and objects, to strenthen different muscles and improve balance. Marc also seems like an excellent therapist, his patients use a lot of equipment also. This is a highly recommended physical therapy/wellness center.

Over the years I've used a number of physical therapists. A common complaint is that the actual "hands-on" during a visit may be 15-20 minutes offset by directing you to
machines to mitigate the diagnosed problem while they work on another customer. This allows the physical therapist to service more clients in a given time.
The reality is that you are being short-changed. ...
