Hannah Landes

Massage Therapist

Yoga and massage found me at the same time. Having spent the majority of my life intellectually stimulated but physically sedentary, I didn’t realize how much discomfort I was in on a regular basis until I received my first massage. Immediately upon experiencing the mental clarity and emotional lightness from the physical experience, I concluded that I had to take a direct approach towards making my body feel better on a regular, sustainable and independent basis, and thusly pursued yoga. Simultaneously studying for my massage license at Cortiva School of Massage and for my yoga teacher training at Inner Strength Studios—both in Watertown—amplified my comprehension of both and as a result, I view the two as inextricably linked. I've gotten bodywork from Hannah several times now and each and every time I'm amazed by her skill and abilities. She finds and releases tension I didn't even know existed. Her attention and care to your individual needs are beyond words.
A brief chat before each session to let her know where I'm feeling tension or pain and then she works her magic. She's my go-to choice when I need bodywork done, and I recommend her to any and everyone that I can.

Hannah finds muscles that I didn't even know I had. She knows my body better than I do. I can't imagine going to see anyone else. Hannah is the best massage therapist that I've ever received body work from. She's constantly learning more, and is such a kind and gentle soul. Her understanding of the human body is truly astounding. I've never met anyone who heals like she does. ... Hannah always has great suggestions for stretches to do on my own time to help with muscles that are too tight. If you're looking for a great massage, look no further, and book an appointment with Hannah!

... After years of yoga and not stretching adequately she got into areas and touched muscles I did not even know were sore/existed. She has such a calming, grounding touch, and her presence is the same. She is truly amazing. I would recommend her to any friend or family, but especially people that are looking to have their muscle tension worked out. I am sure she could do less pressure and a more soothing massage for those that cannot breathe into the 'pain' - but she is worth it for any athlete or constant body mover who needs some serious realignment. Do yourself a favor and book with her!
