  We selected Gunpowder Soup to perform and to entertain during the reception of Stephen and Morgan Whitmore on October 14th at Camp Lucy. They definitely put on a first class, five star performance. The song selection and the energy of the entire group had the dance floor hopping all night long. We have been told by many of the guests that Gunpowder Soup was the best wedding band ever. A special thanks to Jeanine for being so accommodating to us and working with us throughout the entire wedding process. You definitely surpassed all of our expectations!

  HIGHLYrecommend this band! They performed at HSU's Fur Ball earlier this year and everyone had an absolute blast - most said it was the best one we've ever had! They play GREAT music, stuff that everyone knew (the crowd age ranges from 20's to 70's!), and they are VERY interactive with the crowd. Sooooo much fun, we are hoping to use them again next year!

  Gunpowder Soup played at our son's and daughter-in-law's wedding this past weekend. The energy was exciting. We loved working with the group from the beginning until the end. They were professional and accommodating. A big thanks to Jeanne and Jayna for making it all happen! 10 stars!!!

  The band was a great fit for my wedding. The singer has an amazing voice and they provided a lot of entertainment. They even stayed an extra hour since my family was having such a great time. The male singer was on the dance floor letting the crowd sing and was so delightful. The groom and I ran late so we were unable to hear a lot of the music, but they did great at livening up the party. Would recommend to anyone in the Hill Country. They work great outdoors too.

  This band really knows how to party! We had them for our ceremony and the reception. The ceremony was classy and easy breezy, and the reception was awesome! We loved how they brought the mike to the dance floor for the guests to rock out and sing with the band. I didn't know we had so many singers in our friends! They were lively, knowledgeable, and approachable. All the guests commented on how amazing the band was. The songs they played were perfect for my barn wedding on 4/8/2017, hip enough for the younger crowd to dance to and fun enough for everyone else to break into dances as well!
