Greg Klingsporn

Greg Klingsporn is a partner specializing in civil litigation, with a focus on real estate, land use and commercial disputes, who has been practicing in the Bay Area since 1999. Greg has represented both plaintiffs and defendants at trial and has also handled appeals, including the published opinion of Friends of Juana Briones House v. City of Palo Alto (2010) 190 Cal.App.4th 286, 118 Cal. Rptr. 3d 324. Greg’s litigation expertise in real estate matters includes CEQA compliance, adverse possession, boundary disputes, easements, nuisance, trespass, quiet title, failure to disclose known defects, and construction defects. His business litigation expertise includes disputes regarding on-line services agreements, breach of contract, fraudulent misrepresentation, and debt collections.

Greg joined the firm in 2013. Prior to joining the firm, Greg was a partner in the Palo Alto firm of Mitchell, Herzog & Klingsporn and an associate at Cooley LLP. He is a member of the State Bar of California.

Greg received a J.D. degree in 1999 from the Columbia University School of Law, where he was the Note Editor for the Columbia-VLA Journal for Law & The Arts. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Creative Writing (with Departmental Honors) in 1992 from Stanford University. Read more
