Founding partner Vincent Marra has spent a lifetime in the hospitality industry. Reared in his family’s restaurants, it was no surprise when he enrolled in the prestigious culinary arts program at Johnson & Wales University. After a brief sojourn to academic life to earn additional degrees in English, Philosophy, and Education Vince returned to his culinary roots.

For more than 20 years he held prestigious positions in world-class hospitality organizations. Certified as an Executive Chef by the American Culinary Federation at age 27, Vince has split time between 5 diamond resorts, national chain restaurants, and hospitality consulting.

Vice President of Sales Travis Schamerhorn is a man of many talents. Navy Intelligence Specialist, Insurance Salesman, Computer Hardware Technician, Hospitality Educator, and Post-Impressionistic Artist are all career paths travelled by Travis. Read more

    GHI had such yummy food at our Pine Lake October Fest that our musical headliner act chose them for their dinner and had seconds! I served it to all our sound peeps after trying the veggie selections myself too. We'll use them again certainly.

    We used GHI Catering for our rehearsal dinner and wedding recently and we were SO impressed. Chef Vince and his team were on top of it the whole planning process and really helped us work through the menu for both events. We made changes to both menus A LOT and Chef was patient, responsive and helpful when asked for his advice/recommendation. We used GHI's food truck for our rehearsal dinner and everyone loved it. It was a fun/relaxed way to do a rehearsal dinner. I would highly recommend GHI and Chef Vince for any event, especially a wedding.

    We used GHI Catering for a work luncheon taco bar, and they were absolutely amazing! The customer service is stellar and the food is amazing as well! We are going to continue using them, and feel we really hit the jackpot finding them. The beef and chicken tacos with coconut milk rice are going to be requested at work now by our clients! Thank you, GHI, for making Taco Thursday a success for us. Everyone is excited about the next one!

    Our wedding was catered by Gotta Have It and I can't begin to tell you how great they did. It is rare to find a catering company that provides linens, bartenders, servers, dinnerware and glassware, cake cutting service, clean up and tear down all in one. Unlike other catering companies, Chef Vincent Marra made me a whole menu perfect for our vision and guest list . ... Entrees: salmon with crawfish ettoufee, lemon caper chicken, mashed potato martini bar, wedge salad, green beans. Guest absolutely loved it.
    They also made drinks that I curated for our event and provided all the non alcoholic components. Everything was wonderful. We couldn't have been more pleased.
