  Thinking I had discovered a new cavity, I immediately called this office where I have been a patient for years. They got me in that afternoon, and the news was excellent. No cavity! I go for cleaning and check-up every 6 months, and always enjoy the experience, due to the kindness and friendliness of all the staff. Many thanks for all that you do, and I highly recommend you!

  ... Enter Dr. Peterson , im expecting an old man who i could not connect with, little do i know in walks a young woman who greeted me with a smile and explained everything to me in a calm voice and respectful tone. ... What really made me feel important was every assistnat that had worked with me through every asked to come in the room on my most recent visit, eager to see the result and the new me. I am very happy to say that my family will forever go to Dr. Gillespies office for any dental care needs. I apologize for the length if this but there is so much more that I could say but the most important thing I can say is THIS IS THE BEST DENTAL GROUP EVER!!

  It's not often that I'd rave about a dental practice given my "65 and over" age and, believe me, lots of experience. I thought I've had good dentists in the past, but this dental practice blew me away. It's not just me, they've been voted best in Western North Carolina. Several friends, along with an oral surgeon, vouched for Gillespie Dental—saying the whole team is excellent. What distinguishes them initially upon walking in to their office is the comfortable, neutral, calm, and relatively spacious setting for any medical-type practice. One has one's space there without being "sardined" right next to others. The staff is very attentive, welcoming, and helpful. I was told to allow 2 hours for the first appointment. I had already spent a good deal of time filling out the patient forms ahead of time, but I had no idea just how careful and thorough the exam was. An efficient, extremely affable and knowledgeable dental hygienist spent the better part of those two hours taking x-rays, photos (of every tooth from every angle) -- using the latest equipment. It was the first time anyone had ever given me such a complete exam and cleaning. She told me that she had wanted to work for this dental practice for seven years before an opening came up and she was hired. That says a lot in itself. (Read the bios of all staff. Impressive.) When the dentist came in, although I know how busy they were, she made it seem as if I was the only person who mattered. She, too, did a total dental exam and then talked with me about a few options I had for dealing with an issue I brought up. All in all, I couldn't wait to send this recommendation.

  I can't say enough about Gillespie Dental Associates. From the first time I entered the office and every time since, I have had only the best experiences. Every single person from Dr. Gillespie, his dental technicians, his office manager and his front office staff are so nice and very professional. They always try to make you as comfortable as possible. The office itself is immaculate and the waiting room is like sitting in someones living room, with soft comfy couches and chairs. He tries to help his patients financially with his Smile Advantage Plan, which gives you a 15% discount on services. Just today, I was scheduled to have two implants put in. ... I highly recommend you choose them.

  This is an excellent dental practice. Organized, efficient, great communication among the staff members. I have had a phobia about dentists since having some terrible dental work as a child, and have neglected my teeth. From the first phone call, the receptionist was able to put me at ease, and Dr. Gillespie and the entire staff have empowered me to take charge of my dental health with their help.
  
  Doreen is a great dental hygienist, very experienced as well as compassionate. I can't recommend this office enough. It has been a healing experience for me. Thank you Dr. Gillespie and staff.

  ... I was able to get an appointment very quickly, and Dr. Peterson did a great job with the filling. I ended up making a new patient appointment after that, and my teeth were cleaned, X-rayed and photographed at angles I never knew existed. They don't cut corners here!
  
  I've since had some 10-year-old fillings replaced by Dr. Peterson, as well as new composites on my two front teeth where the old ones had chipped. The composite repair took several tries because of difficulties matching my tooth color, but they made it right with no extra charges. I have been blown away by the amazing customer service at this practice, and the overall kindness and awesomeness from everyone I've interacted with here. ...
