  Gary has been able to repair and modify every instrument I've brought him. He has also modded all of them. He added a Fernandez Sustainer, killswitch and Vibra-Trem circuit to an old Telecaster replica from the 50's. He also added LED lights to the top of the case in my Trogtronic flight case. He even added a clip so I can still remove the top if I want to. The power pulls from the main unit just like any module.

  Gary, Fernando and crew are exceptional professionals and will take loving awesome care of your precious instruments! They do great work at a fair price, and they do not judge. :-) This small hidden shop with the long history in SF is a precious treasure holding its ground in the city while so many others have vanished! It's great to support for the sake of supporting a neighborhood treasure, but also you just can't beat the experience and service. Thank you!

  Friendly, helpful staff that does great repairs and mod work at reasonable prices. Given their excellent reputation among professional guitarists, they could charge a lot more, but they don't gouge their customers. Also, although they are always very busy, they'll take the time to help customers figure out what they really want or need done. There's no arrogant BS either, unlike many guitar shops.

  Had to replace the neck on an early 90's MIJ Fender Stratocaster '62 Reissue. Extremely happy with the results...replacement and set-up exceeded my expectations. This place is fantastic, both the repair work and the customer service!

  This is it. This is the place. This is where you want to take all your lovely instruments so they get the proper care and attention they deserve. Gary and his staff are quite literally the best in the business. They're going to do it right, for a great price and you're going to love hanging out there talking with them.

  Gary and his staff are very warm and friendly. Gary helped me with a MIJ guitar that I had bought online for my boyfriend, and I wasn't sure if it was what the seller described. They helped me right away, and Gary even followed up kindly though I am sure he is very busy. With Gary's help (and PayPal's), I was able to get most of my money back from Japan. Thanks, Gary!!
