Furry Forest Friends

Dog Walker

My name is Cara, and I am a Certified Dog trainer with over six years of dog service experience. With my pack hikes, your pet will receive exercise, structure, socialization, and an on leash training experience. I utilize my knowledge of dog behavior to keep the dogs as mentally engaged as they are physically. We work on basic manners like loose leash walking, sit and stay (for pictures!), and learning to wait before walking through doorways and loading in and out of my vehicle. Clients of Furry Forest Friends have reported an overall improvement in their dogs behavior from consistent weekly hikes with me. Read more

My name is Luna. I'm a 12-year old Australian Cattle Dog (13 in November!). I'm an active gal for my age, and my mind is even more active than my body. I recently lost my best friend of 12 years and have been lonely without a buddy at home. I was in desperate need for some dog pal time and distraction. Cara is amazing! We are so happy to have found her! I was nervous because of my little rescue dog's leash reactivity but after an initial intro training session, she assured us that Toby would be OK once he got some confidence. Well, we've been going on hikes for a little while now and there is some serious improvement in his behavior. He's doing so much better and friends/neighbors have also commented on how well he's doing. We are so grateful to Cara and Toby's new-found furry forest buddies!

My name is Posy, I am an 11 month old cocker spaniel and I am part of the furry forest friend pack. I love my big adventure in the woods with my buddies and Cara teaches me tricks and manners. My humans love when I come home and I'm ready to snuggle and nap with them for the rest of the afternoon. I wag my tail when I see the leash and rain jacket come out of the basket In the morning, I know it must be my favorite day!
