  Helpful, efficient, and most of all, nice to interact with. I've taken shirts and suits there - all with excellent results. Also had pants hemmed. They did a great job.

  Wonderful customer service--they lost a sale today but won a customer. I took a formal dress in to be dry cleaned and they walked me through what they would need to do, the risks involved and ultimately advised me against having it done if I wanted to preserve the dress/not waste my money. I can so easily imagine a situation at a less ethical business where they took my dress and my money and everything got ruined. Really appreciate French's customer care and will absolutely be back.

  Amazing service. I went in after reading so many rave reviews and I was not at all disappointed. I dropped off a dress on Friday that I wanted to wear that Saturday. I had been procrastinating dropping it off and then worried that I wouldn't have it in time for my event but they were able to get it done in less than 24 hours. They also called to remind me that they close at 6pm on Saturdays because they wanted to make sure I got my dress. That thoughtful gesture just goes to show how above and beyond French's will go. They will have my business from now on.

  I've tried maybe half a dozen dry cleaners over the years living in DC, and they've all been a mixed bag. A couple of them would habitually crack buttons on my dress shirts, probably the biggest annoyance. But generally, just ok service and overall convenience. French's, however, is great. First of all, it's run by a super friendly family that remembers you after just a couple visits. They have convenient hours (in my opinion), and always seem to be able to turn around your cleaning in 2 days. Prices are very reasonable... I recommend everyone in the upper 14th/Columbia Heights/16th St Heights area check them out, you won't regret it

  These guys do a good job with suits and are very friendly and professional. John is a great dude too. Although there are 4 closer dry-cleaners to my home French's is my new spot
