  I am not a fan of going to the dentist, and was terrified of them when I was a kid. :) If I had dentists like the folks at Forest Family Dentistry when I was younger I don't think I would have feared them.
  
  The quality of the service has always been fantastic. The doctors are also friendly and happy to explain exactly what they are doing and why. The assistants and the staff are also fantastic! I was running late and they called to make sure everything was ok... never had any doctor office do this.
  
  They also have access to Netflix, with TVs on the ceiling, so if you do need more work done they have a good selection of shows you can watch (on request!).
  
  I can hihgly recommend any of their locations.

  I very rarely write reviews, but I had such an incredible experience at Forest Family that I had to leave one! Everyone I encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. The front desk was very accommodating and patient while I struggled to get my insurance information together and Marissa and Valerie were some of the friendliest, sweetest, most genuine people I have met in a long time. I was truly blown away. As long as I am in Austin, I will be going to Forest Family. I seriously could not recommend them more highly.

  ...I came to Dr. Rick for second opinion after another dentist told me to do 11 fillings even though he only showered me X-rays with 2 teeth with possible cavities. Dr. Rick did a new set of X-ray with no charge, checked my teeth and gum much more thoroughly than my previous dentist did, and shocked me with the best news that I could ever expected to hear from a dentist that I didn't have to do any filling. He prescribed me a toothpaste to help with the sensitivity and put my two questionable teeth under watch. I have never had a dentist explain things so clearly and with such patience and understanding. I'm so thankful that I have finally found a dentist who doesn't see the patients as the opportunity to make money but truly cares for their wellbeing.

  I haven't been to the dentist in a while mainly because my experiences were never pleasant... I mean come on... dentists suck! But wow! When I came in for an exam and checkup I was blown away! The entire staff was awesome, I was completely distracted by the technology and netflix and before I knew it I was done! We went ahead and placed a filling and it was by far the most pleasant experience I have EVER had at a dentist! So much in fact... that I actually liked going and wanted to return! I have another appointment today and I couldn't be more excited to go to the dentist! Who would have thunk it :D

  Forest Family Dentistry is Amazing. I see Dr. Richard Donkersgoed, and he's the first dentist in 42 years, that has allowed me to visit, sans anxiety. The office is brand new, no dentist office smell, each room has it's own glassed door, and a tv above, in which I have enjoyed multiple 90's chick flicks. Dr. D is calm, kind, and super knowledgeable. Asking me to raise a hand if I'm in pain, and always following up to check on pressure and pain throughout. I haven't even felt ONE needle, and I've been in there over 8 times in the last three months! This place is a win, this staff is amazing, and Dr. D is IMPECCABLE!
