Floatation Therapy

Massage Therapist

Floatation really is the most effective method for stress relief and relaxation. Why is that? The SECRET is that once you’re settled, it is virtually impossible to distinguish what parts of your body are in contact with the water and which aren’t, tricking your brain into an AMAZING “floating”, Gravity Free sensation. That’s why we say “It’s like Outerspace on Earth”.

The Latest Full Spectrum Infrared Sauna Therapy is the easiest way to cleanse and heal your body, using pure, tolerable, infrared heat. This System has many proven health benefits not found in “old style” saunas including Weight loss, Detoxification, Blood pressure reduction and Relaxation. Read more

... Once I just fully relaxed and was comfortable with floating I started to feel the benefit. About 15 minutes in I realized the parts of skin that were above the water were a little chilly. I sat up and closed the door and that made it better. I tried rolling over and floating on my belly with the noodle keeping my mouth above water and that felt ok for a bit but isn't nearly as relaxing. I flipped back over and totally zoned out coming close to falling asleep at one point. About 5 minutes before the music came on to signal that the session was over I'd sat up and was just doing some stretches. All-in-all it's a really pleasant and relaxing experience. I totally recommend it. ...

I went today for a massage and a float. I will be going regularly for a massage, It was absolutely the best I have ever had!!! The lady who did mine was just amazing. You could tell she knew what she was doing and hit all the right spots. ...

I enjoyed the float, it was relaxing but I couldnt relax for the entire time and got out a little early. It was very clean and calm. During the time I did get myself to finally relax deeply it was very enjoyable. I would give it another try.

My first float, and definitely not my last, was this Friday at FLO2S. I loved every single one of my 90 minutes. I did not know how I would feel floating in the dark for that long, but it was amazingly relaxing. My mind traveled to wonderful places while my body floated completely weightless in the dark. What a fantastic experience. One I will enjoy again and recommend to anyone looking for a way to disconnect from our busy world for a few hours.

... I'd recommend FLO2S to anyone-- especially those who want to disconnect from the craziness of life for awhile. I like to go during the day to avoid traffic during rush hour. I can usually get in within a few days of booking.
You walk in to a dark entrance, where the space has low ceiling--a little quirky. This isn't a fancy day spa, but maybe natural, earthy, and unpretentious. Parking is around the back of the building. Each flotation room has a private shower with wash cloth, towel, shampoo, conditioner & shower gel. Small but adequate. Bring shower shoes just as you would for a gym shower. Friendly people.

... The real magic happens when you step out of the tank and back into the showers. Your head will definitely feel a zing. I would say this first session alone was like 5 days of intense meditation session, if you've ever dabbled in that area before. This was a good tool to help me get back into meditation after a long hiatus as well.

Definitely looking forward to my next visit.

Tip: Before going in the chamber, be sure to dry your face. You won't feel the distraction of water dripping down your face.
