  Dr Tonsberg is the best most honest and genuine dentists out there! Many of my family members are his patients including my brothers, cousins, and aunts. I was recommended to him by a family member after going through a malpractice in Pleasanton with a horrid dentist. Dr Tonsberg has provided excellent treatment in everything I've needed from overseeing routine cleanings, root canals, filings, and a complete replacement of veneers for my two front teeth. I travel from Pleasanton to Alameda and I'd travel further if I needed to because I found a good one and I'm sticking to him.

  Went in to see Dr Tonsberg after not having seen a dentist in quite a while. He and his staff were professional and very friendly and welcoming. Scheduled a cleaning and at the time, there was nothing available within a 2 month time span.. but the ladies in the front were great about calling to reschedule for a sooner appointment anytime there was a cancellation by another patient. Dr Tonsberg was gentle while examining my gum health and his sing-song voice almost put me to sleep! Weird that you can go to the dentist and feel relaxed. Overall best dentist experience I've had. Very bright and cheery atmosphere as well! Schedule your appointment with them. :)

  A life long Alameda resident, we have used different dentists over the years. We had been putting off dental work, because we had had not great experiences with our dentists. Our daughter began orthodontia with a well established Alameda orthodontist, who had beautifully transformed my younger sister's teeth, decades earlier. I asked him who he used. He recommended Dr. Tonsberg. He is, hands down, the best dentist I have ever seen. He knows what he is doing, is thoughtful, manages the pain beautifully, goes out of his way to make sure everything gets taken care of, and his staff is wonderful. My only regret is that I did not find him sooner. But we have now! Best!
