Dog Walker
Irene Tassie, Owner & Operator of Fido’s Following, grew up in Alaska, moving from rural home to rural home. Throughout the years, though, she always had a canine companion. Some ran away, some died, but each in turn were an integral part of her as she grew up. In addition to dogs, Irene grew up with admiration, wonder and respect for the many untamed animals nearby. There were brown bears, moose, deer, porcupines, bald-eagles, wolves, rabbits, and fish. This fascination with the world around her led her to study biology. Read more

Fido's Following is such a lifesaver!! I travel for business regularly and can ALWAYS count on these folks to take care of my 2 dogs. They are so professional and reliable. The best experience I've had and I've tried a several options. If you're in San Diego and need a dog walker, I highly recommend this company. Irene, the owner, is such a pleasure to work with.

Irene has cared for my cats multiple times. Every time I have to leave them I know they're well taken care of and loved. She is wonderful and I cannot praise her enough. My guys absolutely love her.
