  Knowledgeable, and helpful with excellent tips for getting the optimum chemical balance foe you pool. I use them for servicing my pump as well. They have a well regarded pool cleaning service.

  We have used Excel since buying our first house (with a pool) in Los Altos back in 1992. In 1999 we moved to Los Altos Hills into a house that had a pool and spa, with a computer-based control in the house.
  
  The pool/spa has fairly complicated plumbing with remote controlled diverter valves, along with a heater, and we've had a number of issues over the years. Excel is as good as it gets when it comes to great service. Their office is well run, so scheduling a tech is never a problem, and when you really need urgent service they do whatever they can to come out as quickly as possible.
  
  I like to request Ben, who is a very friendly guy, but also really great at what he does. He came out today to clear a filter line I had clogged up from vacuuming leaves into my filter basket, but while he was out here repaired the remote control wires that rats had chewed through and causing havoc with my remote.
  
  I like to clean my pool/spa myself, so I can't comment on their maintenance services, but for repairs, I don't think you will find a better business than Excel.

  Absolutely great service and speedy response when a problem occurs. We have used them for thirty years for weekly pool service. Tom, the owner, is terrific and so helpful as are the office staff. We highly recommend them.

  I have been a customer at Excel Pool & Spa for almost 20 years and have always been very satisfied. They are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I get my chemicals and equipment from Excel and whenever I have problems they have the expertise to solve them. It's like a family - all very nice people. Tom, Suzie, Jim, Ben, Anna and Liz have helped me. Recently I brought my pool sweep in to be looked at as it wasn't working quite properly - they found the problems and repaired it for the cost of a few minor parts (no labor charge) - couldn't ask for better service than that - and so friendly and pleasant. Highly recommended.

  Excel Pool & Spa have been taking excellent care of my pool on a weekly basis for over 6 years! They provide thorough and reliable service and keep the pool sparkling. The service technician keeps a close eye on all the pool equipment and is on top of any needed repairs. Excel always check first for approval and provides an accurate estimate before following through with repairs. I can always trust Excel Pool & Spa to deliver outstanding service and I wouldn't dream of using any other pool service!
