    ... I had tried five Physical therapists before coming here and I am endlessly grateful that I found it.

    These ladies are very popular with yogis and bodybuilders and runners who LOVE their sport and NEVER want an injury to stop them today or 30 years from now.

    If I named one difference in how Nicole and Shannon have treated me, relative to all of my previous PTs, it would be that they care. They care enough to listen to my words and experience, as well as my body. They care enough to educate me about my "challenges" and strengths. They care enough to teach me how to help me heal.

    This whole office is incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. San Diego is lucky to have them.

    ... I had never even thought of yoga much less using it as a therapy in conjunction with physical therapy. Alison treated me over 18mos ago now and I haven't been on the Disabled List since. I am in the best shape of my life and doing virtually anything I want to do physically, and I'm now 45. I messaged Alison the other day and said sorry I haven't been in but the exercises she gave me to maintain have kept me 100% healthy. This is a life changer and I can't say enough about how appreciative I am that there was a solution out there and she and her colleagues found it.

    Nicole Mullins is experienced AND intuitive! I have been here on 4 separate occasions (back & hip misalignment, knee/IT band throbbing pain, vestibular problem, and plantar fasciitis) and can attest to my immediate positive results! In addition she gave me helpful exercises to use at home. She is observant, knowledgeable and professional. Thank you for positive experiences that continue to improve my health and well being.

    I feel very fortunate to have found Embody Yoga and Physical Therapy. My doctor recommended it to me to treat my chronic lower back pain. From the moment I went there, my therapist Nichole made me feel comfortable, relaxed and welcome. She looked at my whole body, not just my lower back, and designed a physical therapy plan for me that realigned, opened and strengthened my body. Nicole work with with me and taught me the skills I needed to relieve my back pain and put everything back into balance. Her integrative therapy has helped me to understand my body and work with it to strengthen and heal. I can,t thank her enough for her insights, encouragement and support.

    ... At Embody, the therapists actually treat their clients for a full hour, taking complete histories and gradually peeling away the areas of dysfunction while also getting to know (and release) any mental, emotional or spiritual issues that might be impeding recovery. I have also been fortunate enough to take several of Rachel's Happy Back trainings and my own students have benefitted from the anatomical knowledge and precise techniques she shared. I have recommended this staff —Rachel, Nicole, Jenn, and Alison—many times to my friends and students in need of treatment. Every person has come away from their care hopeful, happy, and highly satisfied. You will too.
