I like this place! Groupon introduced us and I've been going fairly regularly since. There's no pressure to "be the star" of the class. No pose is impossible. And, some classes...you'll leave drenched. This place has made me fall back in love with yoga. And, some of the people are friendly! That's a big deal in this city.

PS There's no lot but I've been fortunate to find parking right out front, every.single.time!

When my wife made us move to the valley from Santa Monica for her work, it cleaved my heart in twain. But nearly two years later, Electric Soul Yoga has helped heal my broken heart, as well as a torn MCL and a bratty mind. Every one of the teachers here bring their own flavor to a similar philosophy of yoga and mindfulness that gets you ripped both physically and spiritually, and sets you up to just bear hug the sh*t out of your day. Can't say enough positive about this spot.

I like that (Kimberly's class) the only one I ever experienced at Yoga Shelter, is very open and not so rugged with "rules". I actually took a yoga class at the gym where the teacher told us we all had to have the front of our yoga mats lined up with each other in a straight line. Then the teacher proceeded to give us a 10 minute lecture on the meaning of a handful of yoga words. NOT a fun class!

I love Yoga Shelter! Every one of the instructors are incredibly welcoming and are there to push you to your limits recognizing the strength in you, even when you second guess yourself. I am often WORKED when I leave, but I know they pushed me try new poses and push myself more than I thought I could. At the same time, they won't call you out if it's just not your day (which happens to everyone!).
