Best yoga class I've ever taken. If I lived closer, it would be my primary place of fitness. Mark is an incredible instructor; because as one newer to the practice, there's nothing worse than an instructor who lets me suffer through incorrect form and positioning because I'm either a lost cause or because they can't be bothered. Fantastic workout.

Come to Edge. I took a yoga course in college and loved it, but something like ten years passed before I picked up my practice again, and that started with a walk-in at Edge Yoga. Last summer I moved to NYC. Before that time I spent almost six years in Arlington studying with Mark and his team for 500-1000 total hours. He is a very experienced teacher, and the most studied and wise yoga expert I have met so far on the East Coast, bar none. ...

If I could give it more stars, I would! I have always been one to jump around to different yoga studios looking for the one place I like the best. When I moved to DC from Austin, I signed up for class pass and gave Edge Yoga a try. It shares a building with the bartending school, but don't let the location fool you! You can't hear them, and the studio is a nice size to enjoy an awesome yoga session. Edge Yoga is hands down offers the BEST, most versatile, and challenging yoga I have ever experienced.

... You won't want to pass up this opportunity!

I have been attending classes for about 2 months at Edge Yoga. I am new to yoga and have found the instructors very helpful and accommodating to students of different skill levels. I have had several good experiences with Maia and Rebecca as instructors. I haven't taken more than one class with the other instructors but have heard good things. The class sizes allow you to get enough room to stretch, and the instructors are adept at adjusting their approach to the number and skill level of students. When a class has a wide range of skills levels, Maia and Rebecca take the class through poses that can be adjusted to the skill level of the individual student.
