I found my home at EMW Yoga studio. I started trying out some studios in the Buffalo area, after my triplet sister who is a yoga teacher in DC really got me into yoga, and made me discover the benefits of a regular practice. I tried a few different teachers, but due to a crazy and ever changing schedule while going to nursing school, working and being a mom it wasn't until I took one of Erin's classes that I really found myself on the mat again, and was inspired to really commit to my inward journey. Unfortunately she hasn't been teaching regular classes, so I continued to "try on" the many teachers this studio has to offer and their unique styles. Always drawn to Ashtanga style yoga, I currently enjoy Patrick's classes very much and try to make it there as much as possible. His classes are a great mix of being both challenging and relaxing, and I really like that he has a good flow! I also enjoy Leigh's classes and her personality a lot! I can only recommend this study and the various classes it has to offer!

I can't imagine my life without yoga! This place offers exactly what I need every time I pop in! Gentle and restorative is my class of choice. The staff is exceptional including the young lady at the desk who always knows me!

I love this studio. I have been going here on and off for many years, with a couple of lapses in my practice after having babies. I learned a ton of basics back when I took their introduction to yoga class about 8 years ago with Sara. I recommitted to my practice about a year ago and I have been taking a lot of Leigh's classes. I think she is great. She makes classes challenging but fun, and has a great sense of humor.

East Meets West is the best studio I've been to. The teachers do a great job of creating a comfortable environment in which to develop your practice. They will challenge you without pushing you. The teachers are very friendly and are helpful in correcting alignment or in offering advice on developing different aspects of your practice. The space itself, at least the Foundry location, is top-notch: Clean, open, and bright.
