Dr. Meshkian graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s in Psychology. That is exactly why he prides himself on making each patient feel comfortable, safe and less anxious about their entire visit. UGA instilled in Dr. Meshkian all the values of hard work, ethical care; he was determined to master the art and practice of dentistry. With his D.D.S degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee Wisconsin, Dr. Meshkian continued to prove his determination and passion with extensive training in Cosmetic Dentistry and Prosthetics.
Within the last few years, Dr. Meshkian began pursuing courses in Oral Surgery and obtaining his Fellowship in Dental Implants from the International Congress of Oral Implantology. Dr Meshkian completed his Implant training and graduated in 2012 from Rocky Mt. Dental Institute in Denver. Read more

Dr. Meshkian and his staff were awesome!!!!! I am usually extremely nervous about going to the dentist, but I felt very comfortable here. From the moment I entered the office Karen and the other young lady were so pleasant. I got a filling on one tooth and a root canal/temporary crown on another with minimal pain. Dr. Meshkian and assistant Candace were gentle and efficient, he explained what he was doing throughout the entire process. Often asking if I was okay, that was very impressive to me. I felt well enough to go in to work afterwards. I will recommend him to EVERYONE! Thanks!

Doctor Meshkian is really friendly, informative, patient, and skilled. He did a root canal and two fillings for me, and his calm, constant narration of the procedures really helped to put me at ease. The two hygienists I've seen were absolutely delightful, and the front desk staff is very helpful. I would recommend East Atlanta Family Dental to anyone!

...When I returned for my root canal appointment he reviewed the x-ray, did a tap test, and ice test. Because everything looked normal and I was no longer in pain he said it wasn't necessary to do a root canal at this time and to keep him updated if the pain returns. I truly appreciated his honesty and transparency. He and his staff are great and I would highly recommend him as a trustworthy and transparent dentist that has his patience's best interests in mind. Thanks!

I had my new patient visit earlier this week. The staff are super-friendly, the office is nice and clear, and Dr. Meshkian is great! A couple days after the first visit, I stopped in to see if they could schedule me to get my permanent retainer fixed (not their fault, this thing breaks 1-2x per year); they put me right in a chair and the doc fixed it on the spot.

Yesterday I had to have a root canal that ended up being a bit more difficult than anticipated. I used a new dentist, Dr. Meshkian at East Atlanta Family Dental. He was patient, explained everything he was doing before he did it, and was direct about options and outcomes. He just texted me to see how I was doing and to make sure that I wan't having any problems. Additionally, the office staff and assistants were attentive, helpful, and really kind. Needless to say, this is the best dental experience I have ever had. If you are in the Atlanta area and need a great dentist, I highly recommend them!
