Troy has been teaching my son for the past three years. He started when my son was a beginner and has progressed with him as he has become an experienced player. Throughout that time, Troy has pushed him but also encouraged him to keep progressing. ... Troy has great credentials as an instructor with a college education in music, a lot of experience as a drum instructor, and as a professional drummer. I highly recommend Troy as a drum teacher and music educator.

Mr. Troy is an excellent drum teacher. He was able to break down the fundamental rudiments step by step within the first month. I like his idea of explaining the exercise first, then followed by playing the actual work as an example and finally encourages you by playing the practice together at a slower tempo until you become comfortable by playing alone to increase the speed. I am happy with what I am learning and he knows what he is teaching.
