Me and my wife have been going to Downtown Optometry for a number of years.

And really happy with this optometry location. Last year I was with Dr. Tu and because I had a good experience with him, I was looking forward to coming back this year. I honestly can't remember any details from that visit but it left a good impression.

… Its been awhile since I've been with a Dr Who really didn't feel rushed and really felt like she genuinely care and wanted to be helpful to me.
I think I have really great because my copay was only $10. So the person who complained about them and how much they cost was probably because they're insurance just didn't cover enough.
I'm going to go back and I highly recommend them. This is one of those optometrist that if I didn't live or work in the downtown area I would still seek out. -

My husband and I both needed check-ups and new prescriptions - chose Downtown Optometry because we live nearby and they take our insurance. We were able to get back-to-back appointments on a Saturday and didn't have to wait long to be seen. Dr. Tu and his staff were very friendly and professional and we left with our prescriptions in hand. I had an additional test done later in the week and Dr. Tu spent quite a bit of time explaining the results to me and printed off a copy I can take with me if we leave San Diego. I would definitely recommend Dr. Tu!
