After moving back to LA after being gone a year, I wanted to find a new dentist who was closer to where I lived. I found Downtown Dental here on Yelp. Everyone that works here is very friendly, professional, and great at their jobs. I got an initial evaluation and cleaning, then started getting my gum health on track, and replacing 2 old crowns. All of the work has been comfortable and pain-free. They are very understanding of some quirks I have during certain procedures, and were so great at getting me through them. I highly recommend them!

I've been going to Downtown Dental for over 4 years now and this place is awesome! Dr. Mungcal is really knowledgeable, very thorough and always has a big smile on his face when I see him. I'm really bad about flossing and my hygienist Allison always knows when I'm falling behind on taking care of my teeth. Everyone at the front desk is super friendly and always ask me how I am doing. I work freelance so I always have to reschedule my appointments and its always easy to call in and reschedule. The thing I like most about Downtown Dental is that they send me periodic text messages to remind me about my appointments, so I know if I have to reschedule. If you're thinking to yourself, "how can this place get any better?". There's free parking in their garage!

Downtown Dental is the best dental office in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles! I just got 3 fillings done by Dr. Mungcal and his assistants Susie and Alex, and let me say that they were terrific!!! No pain and my teeth feel better than ever! I ate some subway after treatment and did not have a problem :) Thank you so much to everyone at Downtown Dental for taking such gentle care of me and making me feel at ease!!! Cannot wait for my next dental appointment :-)

Love Downtown Dental!! Went in with pain thinking I had something stuck between my gums on my wisdom tooth. One of their hygienist, Allie, saw me and asked where I thought I had something stuck; she told me she saw nothing stuck there. Dr. Mungcal came in checked my teeth and told me my wisdoms needed to come out. I got really nervous and didn't want to get them out. With Allie's numbing I felt nothing, and the procedure was so quick I was surprised when Dr. said all done. I really love this place and recommend it to everyone.

Dr. Muncal and entire staff are so incredibly attentive, considerate, genuine and equally important ... talented! I have been a patient for over a decade and now see Priyam for quarterly cleanings ~ she's wonderful!

You can count on them to find the best financing for those larger procedures (Care Credit). Parking is in the same building and they validate, which is crucial when in Downtown LA (saving you time and money).
You won't be disappointed!
My only suggestion would be name tags, as I have trouble remembering everyone's name ~ they are all so warm and welcoming.
