Dog Day LA

Dog Walker

An east-coast transplant, owner Dan Tracy turned to dog walking after growing tired of the corporate world and years later he still loves his job. Dan built a successful dog walking and pet care business in Baltimore, MD prior to relocating to Los Angeles with his wife. They chose downtown Los Angeles for its vibrancy, walkability and general dog friendly atmosphere.

When not caring for Dog Day LA’s furry friends, Dan is a huge sports fan and loves being outside, exploring Los Angeles and trying new restaurants. He lives in DTLA with his wife Karin, his cat Lucy, his pugs Chuck and Edgar and Roxy the Great Dane. Read more

I highly recommend Dan taking care of your babies if you're out of town. Dan was incredibly responsive and tentative to my questions, texts, and requests for updates. He genuinely care about animals and your pets would be in good hands.
The best way to reach out is emailing Dan at [email protected] he usually responds within an hour.
He charges $15 per 30 minutes visit, which we were happy to pay because our animals are much more comfortable at home than at a hotel/kennel.

Dan is incredibly easy to work with, very flexible to schedule with, and our animals love him. I could go on for a while, but I think that's all you really need to know. Downtown LA can be a hard place to find anyone familiar with its quirks, so it's very nice to have a local who knows the buildings and knows the neighborhood.

Dan is the most amazing human! One of my dogs is beyond anxious since moving to DTLA. Nobody would even try to work with her. Dan immediately said yes, and I am so grateful he did. She loves him!!! And so do I! Thanks Dog Day LA for taking such good care of my babies. <3
