I can't say enough good things about this place. The owner, Matt, used to be a mechanic at Cycle Life and then started his own shop when it closed. Not only does he walk through the bike with you and sends photos with all of the suggested repairs, but he doesn't talk down to you like can often happen at these shops (amiright, ladies?!). The work he does is so amazing and thorough, too, and my bike was in incredible shape for my triathlon. So, a very high recommendation if you ever need bike work done!

Great shop and a great guy. One would be hard pressed to find a better / more personalized service anywhere in the city.

As a mechanic at CycleLife, Matt's reputation was for exemplary customer service. So it is no surprise to me that he has found instant success with his own shop, District Cycle Works. What did surprise me was how my bike felt practically brand new after he worked his magic. Like butter, and I knew it the moment I clicked in. Thanks and much success.

Amazing vibe, driven by a love of all things bicycle. Matt's the best mechanic I've ever had work on my bikes, and he's a straight up good guy. A great spot for work on any level bike, fit, advice on bike choice, wheels, etc.
