At Dance Discovery we welcome students that are new to dance for the first time, experienced dancers and those in between. We create a positive, fun learning environment for students of all ages; offering recreational dance classes, classical study dance programs as well as pre-professional performance teams. Our college trained instructors provide personalized training for kids and teens ages 2-18 in Toddler Dance Expressions, Preschool & Primary STORYTIME DANCE™ curriculum, ballet, tap, jazz, drill team prep, contemporary, modern, hip hop, creative movement, yoga, leaps & turns, and musical theatre. Our Avery Ranch location also offers music classes for infants to age 5. Our teaching team has been voted the Best Place to Learn Dance in Austin for 6 years by Austin Family Magazine Readers!     My girls attend this studio for a combined 16 years, and we couldn't have enjoyed our experiences more. The teaching and administrative staff are top notch - with our girls's social-emotional development as much of a priority as their development as dancers. Both continued to dance in high school and I have the Dance Discovery community to thank for their love of the arts and physical fitness.

    Best place of extra curricular learning I have ever encountered, as both a student and a teacher. The owners and the teachers are just spectacular, loving people who are experts at what they do and pour their passion into the kids!

    We love it here! Each week, my son gets to express himself to music (which he LOVES); he gets to see old friends (and make new ones); and he gets to feel the thrill of dressing up and performing for a crowd at the end of the season. As a mom, I love how he has an outlet for his creativity. I love how he gets to move his body and get his energy out. And I love that he gets to work toward a big achievement at the end of the season (the recital). Plus, the staff is amazing. Highly recommend Avery Ranch Dance & Music!

    I really love this dance studio. My kiddo is 4 and the class that she is in is great. I do not expect a whole lot of technical ability at this age...it is more of an introduction to the idea of dance. Her teacher is really great with the students and is endlessly patient with them. I also love that the class is only 45 minutes as they are so young. As an added bonus they do a monthly themed camp. The camps incorporate dance and stretching as well as yoga and are just plain fun for the kids. Not to mention that they are super affordable. I feel lucky to have this place right in my neighborhood!
