  Dan was my first guitar teacher, when I was still very new to playing. He was great at keeping me engaged by teaching me some of the songs I wanted to learn early on. As we kept progressing, he was great at working in theory and music reading to ensure I was actually understanding the instrument.
  
  He's very flexible and accommodating, and we even did lessons over Skype for six months while I was away for work. I'd recommend Dan to anybody who is interested in learning from scratch or wants instruction from a great Berklee graduate to sharpen their ability.

  I've been taking lessons with Dan for almost 2 years now. He's a great guitar teacher; knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging and has a fun-relaxed style to his lessons. He balances explaining theory and techniques with work on exercises to build up your chops and makes an effort to focus on musical styles, genres, and songs you are interested in playing.
