Dr. Patel is a board-certified dermatologist who has been in practice since 2008. Dr. Patel graduated from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in Economics and then received her Master's Degree in Biotechnology from Northwestern University. She graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin and went on to complete a clinical research fellowship in dermatology and psoriasis at Loyola University, followed by residency training in dermatology at Loyola, where she also served as chief resident. Dr. Patel is currently an Associate Clinical Instructor of Medicine in the Department of Dermatology at Northwestern University. Read more

Dr. Patel is great- she helped solve a horrible itchy skin rash on my arms & legs. I see Monica regularly for peels, microdermabrasion & dermaplaning- Monica is the best!

I've been seeing Dr Patel for both cosmetic procedures (Botox and Juvederm) and medical purposes (she has diagnosed and treated my basal cell carcinoma).

The staff has always been friendly and professional. Dr Patel is nothing short of amazing. I've never waited more than 5 minutes past my appointment time. She takes time to answer my questions. After my 1st Juvederm injection, I developed a cold sore (the 1st time I ever had one), and she squeezed me in to her schedule to see me and even gave me samples of medication to use.
The Botox and Juvederm may be a little more pricey than other places, but I don't mind because I feel it's worth it for Dr Patel's expertise. I definitely recommend her for both medical and cosmetic needs. -

I had a great experience with Dr. Patel! It was my first annual skin exam, and she made me feel beyond comfortable about it. Not only was she thorough, but she also had a great bed side manner walking me through the process. Would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Patel and her staff!

Dr. Patel is so caring, thoughtful and knowledgeable. She is very gentle also, which I appreciate. I have been seeing her for 7 years, with everything from sun spots and checking for melanomas, and cosmetic injections. She is a talent at cosmetic injections! Knew a lot more than my plastic surgeon! I would not even go somewhere else!

I started going to D&A when I moved to the neighborhood. I love Dr Patel, she is very nice and knowledgeable, and truly wants to help her patients. I also started seeing Monica for chemical peels, and I absolutely love her! She has great skin card recommendations and is extremely friendly. Highly recommended!
