I took my Oberheim OB-xA into Custom Vintage Keyboards in 2014. It was needing some TLC. They replaced the key bushings, cleaned up all the pots and buttons, and improved the voices. The price was higher than other synth shops, I'm sure, but the quality matched the price in my opinion. They work mostly on Rhodes, Wurlitzers, Hammonds, etc, but also do some work on analog synths.

Luke and the crew are THE BEST in the business. This is the ONLY place in L.A. to bring your vintage keyboard gear for repair, upgrade, or modification. They fixed a blown power supply in my Fender Rhodes suitcase bottom and adjusted the action at an extremely reasonable price and in a timely matter. After that great experience I took in my vintage Minimoog which was in need of multiple repairs and a new case. Luke fabricated a new beautiful custom cabinet from scratch and did all the appropriate repairs to bring the Minimoog back to life! It's now better than when it left the factory nearly 40 years ago. The final bill was extremely reasonable especially considering the quality of the repairs and craftsmanship. Couldn't be more pleased!!

I'm really happy to say that when I came in to get my gear, they had found the time to take a look at it (at last!) It was working perfectly and the repair was at a really good price.
I understand they get quite backed up, so I'm grateful they took the time last minute to fix my Jupiter-6. Will be coming back here!

picked up a late 70's wurlitzer.
one that "others" might say is thousands of dollars from sounding good.

found Custom Vintage Keyboards from a forum.

    great work. friendly. affordable.

A very pleasant group of gentlemen, shop full of pro players gear, and they also have a ton of incredibly beautiful restored pieces.
